this modern resin ring I found by etsy seller “buymycrap” (yes, really) is great. a little bit of sparkle but not overdone. the turquoise/blue part looks like a glacier. glacier fingers? yes.
sin stuff via mom & sin has several awesome tees, totes, and clothing. I think sloths are adorable and I definitely want this shirt. about the indie fashion designers mom & sin, in sin’s own words: “my mom is a dressmaker and has a lot of spare fabrics for making tote bags. I sometimes draw [...]
“luxury?” is all the fashion blog jak and jil has to say about this makeshift couture handbag. what do you think about the chanel paper bag? I dig it.
the dreamy, feminine, and inspiring photography by fashion photographer dominic clarke never fails to amaze me.
indie fashion designer jes switaj makes amazing clutches in both green and pink / coral hues. I know I just admitted in the last bumblesea blog that the majority of purses that I’d like to add to my collection are black leather. but a clutch doesn’t count, right?
the black raven hanger by the icelandic indie fashion design company birkiland is so sweet I wouldn’t even want to hide it in my closet. and this feruto “dune” black leather handbag confirms that I’ll never spend money on a purse if it’s not black leather.
I’m aware that many of you in the know regarding indie fashion trends are already enamored with littledoe headdresses, headbands, and jewelry accessories. but for those of you who’ve yet to see their work, here’s your chance. littledoe is the epitome of hipster fashion chic.
a simple and adorable black and white bunny rabbit coin purse, hand embroidered by emedemarta. found via etsy.
the bumblesea moustache necklace, since there hasn’t been much shameless self promotion via the blog since the site redesign. it’s an update on the original moustache necklace designed in 2005. I still love it.
in this photo: shaman singlet, machu singlet, voodoo skirt, shaman necklace, and cuff. all by australian fashion designer masayo yasuki of dogstar. dogstar has so many great designs it was difficult to choose just one to feature on the blog, so you might be seeing them around bumblesea again soon.
if I had to describe this shoot it would go along the lines of “professionally ethereal.” I admit, I’m jealous. take a look at photographer eugenio recuenco’s editorial portfolio and be amazed.
though the original listing isn’t up, there’s still lots to check out over at swan clothing on etsy and their blog.
photographer jocelyn allen and clothing designer claire tremlett team up to make some of the most inspiring photos I’ve seen in a while.
pale yellow, gold, and green fashion digs. and some french fries for good measure. I like the new polyvore site setup too.
this video on youtube was filmed by claudia tanney in 2006, when she was only 12 years old. film school snobs beware, this girl will most likely one day wipe the floor with your magnum opus. plus “stop talking” by the walkmen is one of their best songs.
