I love jellyfish to the point where I’ve considered getting one as a pet. unfortunately, pet jellyfish are notoriously difficult to care for. another option are these fake LED pet jellyfish tanks. even if I was feeling impulsive enough to drop $170 on LED jellyfish I wouldn’t be able to because they’re sold out. a more realistic option would be to make some of my own like miwa koizumi’s PET bottle jellyfish designs. time to buy a heat gun.

erika hendrix is a german fashion designer I recently found via dawanda. you can purchase her goods via erikahendrix.com as well. I’m still not quite over my purple obsession and I’ve also been wearing lots of shorts lately even though it’s freezing outside. it gives me an excuse to wear my collection of tights more often. so of course erika is taunting me with these purple bubble shorts.

behind the scenes lily allen photoshoot

thanks to a new HD camera I’ll be able to share a few behind the scenes videos from some promo shots of a new bumblesea line. I was planning on doing this way before I found the behind the scenes lily allen footage from a photoshoot for an album cover, and it’s exactly what I have in mind. gorgeous..

the upcoming jewelry line is being finished up and I can’t wait to get everything put together finally.

I’m diggin’ purple things lately. I turned a pair of purple corduroys into cutoff shorts which I’ve been wearing all the time, I bought a purple laptop yesterday and all these purple things on the internet are screaming my name. daul kim commits suicide, sadness ensues

the hilarious and misanthropic korean model daul kim has passed away. the title “daul kim checks into a motel in nowheresville, USA” given to a recent editorial of daul in russh magazine now seems to be an unfortunate foreshadowing of later events. though I’m sure PETA activists are rejoicing in her demise due to her statements about fur, “I’m usually very miserable, so I reward myself with a fur coat every year. ” as much as I love gisele, cintia dicker, and gemma ward for being adorable I doubt I could stand having a conversation with any of them. after seeing her model diary “sometimes daul kim feels like a stripper” for new york magazine’s the cut fashion section, I think daul seems like the kind of girl I’d want to be BFFs with.

ellie from mint interviewed a bunch of entrepreneurs (and me) about how they deal with goals, deadlines, procrastination for a guest post at pitch design union. turns out we’re all in love with to do lists. good to know that jeff from BOOOOOOOOM feels just as weird about paperwork as I do.

bumblesea is finally in neet magazine, I’ve loved them since they featured my old band and interviewed me for the magazine

I need to stop going MIA. did an interview since I’ve been gone, been working on new products and generally ignoring the blog to get bumblesea back on track from my break.
